From chaos to clarity, how simplifying my workflow helped me deliver better results, faster.

Design isn’t about adding more. It’s about removing the unnecessary — until only the essential remains.
Complexity kills momentum. Simplicity unlocks impact.
In a world that glorifies complexity, I’ve learned that clarity and speed come from having a sharp process. Here’s mine.
1. Start with clarity, not aesthetics
Most designers jump straight into Figma. I don’t.
I start with a single sentence: “What is this project trying to achieve?”
Whether it’s a landing page or a SaaS dashboard, I define:
What success looks like ?
Who we’re talking to ?
What action we want them to take ?
This is my compass. Without it, every decision is noise.
2. Outline before you design
I don’t open Figma until I’ve sketched the information hierarchy.
Think of it like building a sentence: subject → verb → object.
A site should guide the eye just like a good paragraph.
Tools I use:
Notion → for outlining key sections
Pen & paper → yes, still unbeatable
AI (sometimes) → to brainstorm CTAs or messaging
3. Design with friction in mind
Every click, every scroll, every form field adds friction.
So I constantly ask myself: “Can I make this faster, clearer, lighter?”
I follow these personal rules:
Notion → for outlining key sections
Pen & paper → yes, still unbeatable
AI (sometimes) → to brainstorm CTAs or messaging
4. Use the same tools, masterfully
Speed doesn’t come from using 10 tools. It comes from mastering 2 or 3.
I work with:
Figma → for everything visual
Framer → for fast, no-code dev
Notion → to keep everything scoped
When you know your tools inside out, your brain doesn’t think about how, it thinks about why.
5. Deliver with confidence, not perfection
A design isn’t perfect when there’s nothing left to add.
It’s perfect when there’s nothing left to remove.
I don’t waste 3 days polishing shadows. I ship, test, improve.
The goal? Impact. Not just “looking good.”
Final thought: Simple is not easy
Minimalism isn’t an aesthetic choice. It’s a business strategy.
It helps me think faster. Move faster. Build better.
If you’re looking for a designer who values clarity over clutter, you might be in the right place.
